Location of Little Angels...
We share the main entrance with St Matthias' Church on North Hill. (Go up the steps and round the left-hand side of the church building. The Little Angels entrance is on your left.) Our other entrance is in Bedford Park. (Go down the steps between the church hall and the church building. Little Angels is on your right.)

We have specially refurbished premises consisting of a school room with rest area, an activity room, fitted kitchen, plus toilets and coat space. We also have use of a secure garden for outdoor play, and a stimulating soft play area with floor markings and a large hall for keep fit, indoor races and play, and musical movement.

Security Arrangements |
The nursery doors are kept locked at all times, and any visitors have to ring the bell for attention. We also have a C.C.T.V. System fitted for added security. Someone known to the staff must always collect children. In the interests of the children’s safety, parents are requested to check that the children and themselves bring no harmful items into nursery. The gate to the Nursery should be kept closed at all times for the children’s safety

Staff to Children Ratio |
Each staff member is responsible for up to eight children (or four 2 year olds) in accordance with the Children Act 1989. The maximum number of children at the nursery will be 24.

Key Worker System |
Each child is allocated to a small group with a member of staff who has special responsibility for his or her well being while at nursery. This gives the child a sense of security. Each small group of up to eight children follows the curriculum at a level they can cope with, to reach the "learning goals" outlined by the government.
